kitten doesn't need to worry about girls or get rejected by shallow girls
kitten gets thrown in burlap bag and beaten to a pulp with a baseball bat, by little boy who get rejected by shallow girls.
Hopefully, someday that little boy will go to jail for the murders he committed. Children who abuse and kill animals tend to grow up to be adults who abuse and kill people. If that little boy grows up to abuse and kill women and or children there's a good chance that he'll be raped in prison.

The worst cat rescue I had. A friend was pounding on my door at three in the morning. As a drowsily opened the door he had this cat in his arms. He was kinda drunk still and he blurted out his story. He stole the cat from his friends house. They had been torturing it for years. He said he had witnessed them duct taping it to a wall. trapping it in a box and throwing it out a second story window. They even severed it's tail in a sliding glass door. I obviously took the cat in. Now I don't like my cats on the kitchen counters. Anywhere else is fine. And just once he got up on the kitchen counter. So I went to bop him on the butt. I don't hit, just kinda push lightly. And this lather large two foot long cat was so scared of me he shrunk into a little ball and just trembled. I nearly cried. I gently picked him up and put him on the floor and got down to his level and consoled him for about five minutes till he was better.
What other horrors those "people" did to this cat I don't know. I don't want to know. But, they should have been punished. I only wish I did more.
People like that should be in jail! That poor kitty probably knew nothing, but abuse before you got it.
My uncle is a realtor, he and his colleagues find abandoned animals in foreclosed homes all the time; it's very sad. He and his girlfriend adopted this one Shih Tzu and she is a basket case. They say that she was just very badly neglected, but I tend to believe that she was probably abused as well.

Right. I mean it totally ruins the kitten motif. It isn't cute anymore. It's just scary
I'm a cat person myself. I own two. A male, also eight, and a female five. I've had many over the years. I have never bought a cat though. I only rescued cats from bad homes or when their current owners couldn't have them anymore.
I rescued a three legged cat after a car accident in college. Good on you for adopting rescue cats.
My best friend now is a rather posh Siamese. I'm a bit of a cat fancier and a big fan of the Siamese cat breed for sure. He's very a loyal, affectionate and fairly dog like little dude. He knows some basic dog obedience better than a lot of dogs. He plays fetch and is friendly with everyone. We found a injured desert finch in my backyard and I only had to tell him no once. He also let's me bathe him, clip his nails, clean his ears and wipe the boogers out of his eyes. He's my special baby and I thank God everyday for him.
My Siamese cat is also best friends with my sister's toy poodle so I get to have the cutest slumber parties when my sister goes out of town and I get to babysit.
