Is it normal i want a disability pension

I'm lazy and stupid, I think it's a disease I was born with. So should I be entitled to a disability pension.

Healthy people don't refer to themselves in such a disparaging way. Are you depressed?

Even though they are heavily stigmatized and it's not very common, there are a lot of people who don't have the coping skills to hold down a full-time job for any length of time. Quite often they have to rely on assistance from the government to get by.

A friend of a friend of mine, suffers from crippling social anxiety and lives off of government assistance. She's a really nice, intelligent, person. But, for her, the traditional working role is not a good fit. I would think poorly of anyone who criticized her for it too. It takes a lot of courage to admit she needs help that way, since our society is geared towards shaming individuals who don't function the same as the standard.

Do you drink alcohol? Alcohol consumption can cause brain damage! It could be considered a type of disability.

    • Do some research, alcohol does not cause brain damage.

Either the health classes were using untrue scare tactics to prevent youth from drinking or you will have to take your concerns up the government.

        • Long term alcohol abuse can cause 'Alcohol related dementia'

If you drink enough alcohol you can go into an alcoholic coma which may or may not cause a brain injury.

Reduced motor skills, poor reaction time and depression are just an after affect of alcohol, these symptoms go away when alcohol has left the system, there is no permanent damage done to the brain.

MRI's have been done on hundreds of cronic alcoholics and no brain damage was found.

Also, I was lazy and stupid and depressed before I ever had a drink.

Lazy people are entitled to free housing, food, etc. in America. Come on over! The middle class will pay you to do absolutely nothing

  • Laziness is not a disability.

I you are half as "lazy and stupid" as you say you are, you don't have the drive or intelligence to get a disability pension.
However, if you are really serious about it, you'd better get yourself a good job, because disability pension attorneys are very expensive!
