Okay so a few weeks ago I told a boy about me being bullied, and that it eventually led to me self harming. He helped me with it so much. He told me how to stop and try to ignore them and I'm not doing it as much now.
But ever since I told him and he's been helping me, I've completely started to feel a different way about him! My feelings have completely changed about him! We used to be just friends (and we still are) but I just want to see if he would go out with me. Is this normal?

    Don't do the whole douchey thing of waiting around for him to ask you out. You want him? Seek him! He might think it would be incredibly douchey for him to try take advantage of your emotional state and wouldn't try to take things further even if he wanted to.

    Initiate it, don't wait for him to. :)

      I agree with this, I honestly dont understand the "wait for him to initiate it thing". If you want to tell them, and you're not being held back by your nerves or some other thing, than say it. Its not the 1950s anymore! I would want a girl who was interested in me to tell me so, especially cause Im usually too nervous to say so myself.

        That's the thing though!! I'm too nervous in case he doesn't like me back and then I'll feel like I've made everything more awkward! I made things awkward enough from when I told him about my self harm! We have barely spoken since then and we use to speak almost everyday!!

          Oh, I see, the nervousness. Ive been there, liking someone and not being able to say anything, and im a guy.

          Also, he was being helpful to you and getting you to stop, why has he suddenly stopped talking to you?

          Anyways, it seems you may have said too much. Ive done that, (and with a teacher no less) We were talking again after a while, but it was awkward.
