So much stuff online is not even serious.. You gotta be kidding... The interwebz.. WHERE people can say whatever the hell they want without giving one brick.. Because it's the interwubz'... Some random Kyle or Martha is not gonna give you the evil eyes & moral preach if you start trollin' about selling guns to children.

If you see something fucking illegal going on, you would be stupid not to report it to the cops. However, you can't always assume that people are serious when they go online and make comments like "I'm going to give a gun to my kids" because people online are stupid and say jackshit whatever. I post pics on Facebook on my friends walls for funny saying "I will kill your entire fucking family", doesn't mean I'm going to do it.

Do your civic responsibility, also do remember that the internet is full of weaners. Like me.

Unfortunately, information like this is kinda hard to find, even if you search online. So, as a suggestion, bookmark that website, and make sure you can find it when necessary. When really necessary, maybe you could contact the FBI. But I don't know when it's appropriate, or not, (or uncomfortable) to contact the FBI.

However, for threats toward adults, I'm not sure where you can report that online. I just searched, and found this:
http://www.report-it.org.uk/reporting_internet_hate_crime (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and select option B). I'm not sure if this webpage is only for reporting hate crimes, though.

Another website I found is The internet complaint center. http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx However, that site seems to be focused on white collar crimes.
