    If you're a lesbian yourself, I guess it's because you see it as like a sisterhood? People becoming amazing friends based on shared experiences?

    I'm a gay man and I see it that way with other gays. Not necessarily "cute", but I think other gay men make the best platonic friends for me, with common interests and relate-able experiences.

    We can be platonic friends, something a lot of straight people don't seem to grasp. My best friend is also gay and a lot of people seem to assume we're a couple, or we've at least fucked, just because we're close.

    Im a lesbian and have a few friends. Gay and straight. Straight girls will be your friend, op, unless they're homophobes.

      Well I mean I have heard lesbians/bisexual girls talking about their bad experiences with straight girls which puts me off a bit. I heard about this bisexual girl who was never invited to sleepovers with other girls (really???) and my own mom (who is a straight woman by the way) said that she wouldnt want me to have a sleepover with a lesbian. Ugh.

      There are a lot of cool straight girls, and if I do like a straight girl I will ask her to be buddies. I did like a straight woman at some point and she didnt say anything homophobic as far as I know. But they are still more likely to be homophobic than girls that arent straight.

        But not all of them. Just the dumb ones that think we all want to spread our gay on them. Frankly, most that have accused me of checking them out were unattractive so I never knew where they got the idea.

      Well I think platonic relationships are cute in general. And I prefer lesbians over straight girls most of the time because a straight girl is more likely to not want to be affectionate with me. straight girls are weird about being affectionate with girls who are not straight.
