Is it normal i think i have stalker tendencies?

I have the photos of a few different people saved to my computer. I constantly check their instagram, facebook, and twitter. One of them has an account on a dating site so I created an account to view their full profile. I know their snapchat, kik and skype names too and have messaged them a few times under different names.

I have no intent of doing harm to them. To be honest, I kind of have a crush on one of them and I think the other two are cool. I "root" for them. Their lives are ideal or at least what I consider ideal. I love "watching" them but I'm a bit envious. I recently found out that one of them is from my state and she visits here often because of family. I know where the city is and I was thinking about going up there when she's visiting so I can finally see her in person.

It's two guys and a girl, by the way.

    I'm not surprised you get envious. Stalking someone online is not the same as knowing them. You don't see all the bad stuff. All the things they're not proud of. You're not really watching human beings, basically you're watching a characters they've made up for themselves. Just like the characters you've made up.
    Why do you do that by the way? What stopped you from just creating a real account with your real name? That's exactly what dating sites are for.

    The fact that you asked about this shows that you realise you might have a problem, and that's great!
    Maybe it's time to get help.

    I only have stalker tendencies when patients escape my office screaming in pain and I have to chase them down, tackle them and finish pulling their teeth out in the street.

    Just because you don't intend anything bad doesn't mean it's a good behavior. If anything it's probably harming you.
