Is it normal i think gay people are fake?

With as many people who post that they hate gays on here, it seems, "this is just a trick to make others like them" really wouldn't work in their favor. I don't often hear of straight guys being beaten up on the streets because of their sexual orientation either, do you? I don't think you are making a very good case for this being "a trick to make others like them".

Gay people coming out are often ridiculed. They are treated as weirdos. Some are even disowned by their parents.

The fact that they still choose to come out despite the hard life ahead is proof enough that it's real and not some kind of bizarre conspiracy to trick you into thinking that they're "cool".

Yeah, anyone who is gay, lesbian, vegetarian, mormon, or any specific colour of hair, must be fake just to be different.

Or perhaps people who aren't any of those things are just so boring that they can't imagine being one of those things and so have to insult people who are.

I think you're being abit judgemental towards gays and their reasons for being that way.

I do believe there are a few people out there, mostly teenagers, who say things to imply that they are gay or bisexual, but truth be told they give genuine homosexuals a bad name. While I don't agree with all the behaviour and personality traits some gays seem to portray, I don't discriminate against them or judge them for their descisions.

Its common knowledge that there is a lot of hatred towards homosexuality out there, and I'm sure that everyone realises it would be abit of a gamble pretending to be gay as you might receive either support or hatred, it could go one of two ways and I don't think you have the right to assume their lifestyle choices are based on them trying to gain pouplarity or attention. Not everybody cares about being popular or liked.

I think it depends on your age and location. It wasn't that long ago that a kid wouldn't even consider coming out before college and, though I don't know for fact, high school is likely where that particular difference is considered "cool".

They aren't fake. Not that fake gays or people that say they're gay just for attention don't exist, they just aren't common at all.

Homosexuality is becoming more and more accepted, there are certain places where saying you're gay suddenly gets you a lot more support. But again, they're pretty uncommon (currently).

I don't agree with you at all. I have identified as "straight" all my life, but recently have had an overwhelming desire to suck cock. I can't help how I feel and these thoughts won't go away. I think I would like to try the gay lifestyle. I'm sure like any other groups there are fakes, phonies and con-men, as well as general assholes. I do think though that there are many very genuine loving gay men and women out there that you just have to get to know first. Don't put a judgmental tag on a group of people because of your insecurities. Maybe deep down you are gay, but ashamed of it, so you post a ridiculous comment like this.

Some people claim to be bisexual simply because they believe that it is "in". I'm yet to here about them doing it with being gay.
