Is it normal i think everyone knows my friend mike?

This is no joke, I have a friend who knows everyone. I am convinced he knows all of you as well. Every time we are out anywhere like the rainforest, chinatown, little italy, the Sahara desert, a tomb in egypt, this guy knows everyone. I'll be admiring the view of the pyramids and boom, the tour guide says "Mike?? I remember you!" Or I'll see some little man maybe 3 feet tall walk out of the bathroom while we're at a table eating dinner and he'll turn in our direction and fist pump Mike as he exits the place. Some other time I was having dinner with my family and Mike outside on a beach restaurant and this kid's frisbee accidentally landed near us. He came up and was like "can I have that back..OH MIKE! Hey!"

is it normal I think he knows everyone?
