Is it normal i that i refuse to go to rehab or quit drinking

Back in December 2019 I was fired because I didn't know that I was still drunk but I felt sober. And now I have kept a job for over a year and never I want to go to rehab or quit drinking. Only when I'm mental health is good then my drinking is good but when I'm sad or stressed then I binge on my days off work

You have obviously not admitted to yourself that you have a problem - and yes that is quite normal.

If admitting you had a problem and dealing with it was normal - there would be almost no alcoholics or substance abusers.

Well then you're either going to die of cirrhosis of the liver or in an alcohol related accident.

Sounds like you are self-medicating. No bueno.

Alcohol is a toxin. There is no dispute whatsoever about that in the scientific community. And recent research has found that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption; consuming alcohol inevitably causes damage to organs, and the only reason most people can get away with drinking regularly is that their bodies are in good general health and are therefore capable of repairing that damage - to at least some degree.

It's your body and you can damage or destroy it in whatever way you wish. You have the right to self-medicate with high levels of alcohol consumption if you wish to do so.

But that's not a rational choice.
