Is it normal i still dream about my dad even though he disowned me?

I sometimes will have dreams in weird settings where me and my brother are younger like 14,15 and with either one of my parents. However my father disowned me about 2 years ago and hardly seen me since.

I had to desensitize myself to the fact since my mother wouldn't stop nagging me about it and let me get over it. I still dream about my dad though.. I thought I got over the fact he isn't my dad anymore.

      He got in a fight with my mom and was mad I wouldn't call her a bitch.
