It seems like every girl want to look "sexy" "sexual" but I don't even want people looking at me like that, so I'd rather dress more simple, not ugly, but pretty and simple, no hair extensions and super sexy makeup or high heels, just dress like me. Do guys prefer this? I just don't see how it's important to get all this attention from boys, I think a lot of it has to do with me wanting to keep my bf's eyes on me. You know what I mean? I got suckered into wanting to be sexy all the time, but really, I look down on girls who dress sexy all the time trying to intimidate other girls... like it's all a big game...

    I prefer simple and most of my friends do too. Jeans and a T-shirt, hair in a ponytail, light or no make-up. Yes, please!

    Plus when you often dress simple, it makes those occasions when you do dress up even more special. This philosophy can applied to so very many things in life.

      I don't wear make up or anything either and people moan at me and say you should wear make up or dress up a bit more. Then when I do they complain that I look stupid or I'm dressing to old or to act my age. What is the point of all this I hate it. I know how u feel.

        lol, people are nuts. My friends always go on about the way I dress (it's either very smart, or very casual, and there's nothing inbetween).

        You can dress how you like. I personally like plain, and then dressed up for special occasions. Don't listen to people moaning. They just like complaining. :P

            Ah, sorry. I do sometimes have a hard time telling if people are joking.

            I just replied to another post of yours, and I hope you'll reply so I can either explain or rethink some of the things I've said. Sometimes I get frustrated and just say things, and I don't always use the energy to explain my position enough. I certainly hope I'm not the female ItDuz. I care about gender issues, but I don't think women are or should be superior to men.

    I'm the same:P I've only ever worn heels twice before, I prefer converses:) And I'm not a fan of hair extensions either. Although, eyeliner is just too "sexual" for me to resist, damn cat flicks!

    Also, I think simple can be very sexy if you suit it. Usually when people try to hard to be sexy it has the opposite effect.

    When it's obvious that someone is trying real hard to look sexy its just ridiculous. I've seen it. Its stupid. But then there's the other side of it. Roll out of bed and slosh around town in your dirty pj's and they probably forgot to brush their teeth.

    Quit giving so much of a damn what a guy wants, if your guy is attracted to you and he knows what you look like underneath those clothes then you can dress like a massive crayon and he'll still think your sexy.

    Just dress however you want to dress. Men think confidence is sexy, and if you don't feel confident in dressing like a super model than don't do it. Not all women HAVE to look the same, just like not all men have to be attracted to the same type of woman. It goes with the territory of having sexual organs.

    I preffer girls that look comfortable. I dont like it when women try to hard lolzz high heels dont look easy to walk in.

    Im a guy and i dont even like to dress "hot" lol with all those tight shirts and fucked up hair styles. I had a couple girls fight over me and that shits not as cool as what guys think. Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt and cops get called. I preffer to look normal

    same here i don't dress for men or for women either, seeing girls trying to walk in heels looking like baby giraffes is just too funny for me & looks so uncomfortable. i wear mascara and eyeliner though & try to pull off a natural look thank god i was born with great skin so no foundation for me.. converses are great & i happen to think Ellen degeneres has a great sense of style.

    As far as I see it there's three (vague) options: dressing casually, dressing well but not sexily and just dressing sexily. The first two are great options and both of them can look really great, but I imagine the third would often get a girl the wrong kind of attention from the wrong kind of guys (unless that's the kind of attention she wants; in that case go ahead! :) ).

    A girl who dresses casually comes across as chilled and laid-back - really good qualities - and a girl who dresses up really well seems classy - another good quality. A girl who dresses too sexually might catch the eye at first but ultimately comes across as desperate.

    Personally, dressing however you want and being comfortable in it is the most attractive thing. If you feel happy in what you wear you'll look happy, and confidence and comfort in how you look is - again, just personally - more important then how you actually look. If you look good as well, that's a great bonus :)

    That ramble was longer than I intended! :P

    Yes, I didnt know heels meant trying to be sexy, so teachers and doctors are trying to look sexy? It just shows femininity which is a major turn on. Dont dress sexy but girly as you can is a big turn on.
