Iin, i slutted around and now got hpv?

How did I get HPV? I thought that only men got it. I admit, I slutted around a bit, but never thought I could get it from a man. Can I still have sex with HPV?

Doctors cure that shit all the time. 1

I love that term "slutted around" 😂.

The fact is you dont need to slut around to get something. You could be with one person your whole life and get something.

So don't be hard on yourself.

I like it when they say it how it is, rather than, I only did this, and now I'm a victim. Got to give credit for saying she fucked around a bit, oh I mean "slutted around".

        • I've had people tell me how "dangerous" my slutting around is! I suppose that's true but so is driving a car, playing football, going to school. So far, I'm good. To me, slutting around is worth some risk!

It's a virus. Although antibiotics can cure bacterial infections, medicine currently isn't capable of curing viral infections.

In the case of HPV, the best that can be done is treatment of the warts when they appear.

There are lots of different Human papilloma viruses. Some cause genital warts, some cause more serious problems such as changes in the cervix which can lead to cervical cancer. My understanding is that the viruses which cause external warts are not the ones with increase the risk of cancer, but you should consider talking to a health professional about the risks of the particular virus you have.

HPV is passed between people during sexual contact (which is why it's classed as an STI), and this can happen with just skin to skin contact - penetrative sex is not necessary. So, yeah, you _can_ have sex, but HPV is highly-infectious, and so there's a good chance that you'll pass on the virus to the guy (possibly even if a condom is used), who will then pass it on to the women he later has sex with, who will pass it on to other men, and so on...

Seriously, you should be doing some research on this from credible sources, rather than relying on the opinions of us IIN doofuses.

It is estimated that as many as 75 percent of the reproductive-age population has been infected with one or more types of genital HPV. Most women have it.

  • My friend just told me I should call this guy named Dr Jack Kevorkian, and says he has a cure. Anyone heard of this doctor before?

Dr Kevorkian died a number of years ago. I doubt he can help... I'd get a new friend... Just sayin'

Both men and women can be infected by HPV. That's how it gets passed around sexually.

If only men were susceptible to the virus, only gay guys would have it.

Being infected with HPV does not mean you have cancer. _Some_ strains of HPV can cause changes in the cervix which _can_ lead to cervical cancer years down the line.
