I have a best friend who is very close to me. He is boy and I am also. (We're not gays)We share our likes, dislikes, our dreams, ideal girls, our problems and relationships. He is just 10 months older than me. I always treated him as my best friend and my older brother. We got very closer though we have known each other just last February 16 2013 through cellphone and we haven't seen each other yet. We trust each other, rely and "love." I said "I love you" to him but the way I feel it as I said it is like he is an older brother of mine. I treated him as my older brother since my real older brother is not close to me. We said "I love you" to each other many times but not in a gay/bi way but as REAL BROTHERS.
We don't think of engaging any sexual activities with each other since we are both straight but I'm afraid others will label us as gays or bis?

Do you think it is normal for guys to say I LOVE YOU to each other even though we're not gays?

    I would say yes.
    I have a best friend ive known for 18years
    many a time we say "love you bro"
    we consider each other brothers.
    you have to remember not all love is sexual.
    and if people say ur gay or bi stuff em. sticks and stones :)

      Yes, we really consider each other as brothers! I am his younger bro and he is my elder brother..
      We love each other as best friends and brothers and we do not think of any gayness since we are religious persons. We made God as our guide in order to make our friendship stay stronger...

    they might lable you as gay but still, youre the one who knows what you are and arent. so no matter what they say, love your 'brother' as much as u like.

    Being gay is also normal and fine. If you are, that's fine. Somthing about this post, not the 'love' bit but how fixated you are on the 'gay' thing makes me think the feelings might not be entirely platonic saying that I'm in love with my friend in an entirely platonic way. So deep feel ings of love can exist between friends.

    There are stupid labels about male friendship, that is one of them. Most of the people would think that you are gays or something like that just because you are males. If you where females, the're would not be any problem at all.
