I'm 36 and don't know shit about cars, I can't even drive a stick but a really want be a mechanic.

    Ahh, a person after my own heart. I wanted to go to vocational school for mechanics when I was in high school but I didn't go because reasons :( I know a few things and can fix and/or replace a few things but its not nearly enough so I've decided to enroll this fall or at the beginning of next year. I'm super stoked bro! It's never too late to learn.

    There are trade schools you go to to learn the trade. Can be good money in it but it's also a physical job.
