Is it normal i realized i learned about relationships through the internet?

I did not think about it as a kid but I realize it now as an adult. When I was a kid I learned most of the stuff I knew about sex from older adults on the internet. I would talk to them about my feelings, emotions, relationships and other sexually related stuff I could not talk to anyone else about including my mom and dad.

They would tell me about their relationships, and stuff they did with their partners in some cases. So I ended up learning a lot at the age of 14 from adults through the internet. Usually these people were 19-25. I had various age groups of friends though ranging from my age to much older.

I kind of wondering if at the time this would have been like considered bad some how since they were giving all this information to a child. I mean I did indeed need to know everything they told me, they were the only ones willing to listen to me and helped guide me through puberty. My family was Christian so most things are considered bad relating to relationships, romance or sex. So anytime I tried to talk about my feelings I was usually told it was sick and evil. Which did not really help anything.

It's not normal, but it's ok to take lessons from unconventional places.

I learned a lot about relationships from working at a law firm, of all weird places. It was family law, mostly divorce and child custody. I watched families break up, basically, and I witnessed adults behaving horribly out of pain and spite- spending hundreds of thousands of dollars arguing over things worth a tenth of that out of vengeance, prolonging the pain just to get back at someone who hurt them.

Anywho, it taught me so much about how to handle pain and breakups and disappointment and life. Sometimes you learn a lot from unexpected places. It's not normal, but it's good!

The internet has different rules, generally people are more equal, and age is easy to ignore. This is less true for modern sites like Facebook, they more closely mirror real life. But on more anarchic sites, like this one even, an adult talking to a youth about sex wouldn't be anything strange. You have questions, someone has answers, what could be more natural than that?

I remember when I first used chat rooms I was about 12 and men in their 30s would pm for me to rp sex w them, so I did it cuz I felt rude not to respond to their efforts. it wasn't really interesting to me then, and still not. This was before Chris Hansen and all that so I never thought it was a big deal. kids these days seem more sexual than I am as an adult, pretty sad for then

"And the stuff they did with their partners"? You are sick and this and yourself are an example that the internet is full of jobless pervs with sick mind like yourself. In a gae where an average human has a lifespan of 90 years and can live 120 years, 25 is nothing. Ask opinions from 40 year olds, who are just getting started and have more experience than you. But no one should tell anyone what relations to go for, especially not a stranger behind the computer. I like horses, some don't consider it normal, but its better than the shitty pervy thoughts that run in your head, disgusting parent fucker you are! Go ahead remove my comment you coward, but that won't change wbat kind of a creepy perve you are!

    • Why do you assume being pervs makes them jobless? You can be a pervert and have a job. In fact having a job gives you more room to be one. Have you ever seen how much sex toys cost? Its a crap load.

Also they never told me what relationships to go for, they simply gave me information I did not have already and usually I would talk to them about feelings my mom and dad said was evil. I had a crush on my friend at 14 and I did not realize it was a crush when my parents found out they flipped out. They said I was sick and wrong and to never ever say things like that. I not sure else I was going to ask since I was in fact the rational one of all my friends and keeping them from dating pedophiles.

I also dont know why you think someone is a perv for wanting guidance during puberty and just now realizing the problems with it as an adult. You are saying anyone who hits puberty is a pervert? Im sorry biology made us that way, we cant really help it. I sure you are a human too so you went through it too.
