When I was a kid I wanted to the most "me" I could be and never thought about my future, ever. IIN?

    I just wanted to be a kid forever. Hitting puberty was absolute misery for me, I remember asking my mom why they couldn't just go get me spayed like my dog. It might sound messed up, but I would prefer if my folks outlived me sometimes. The only career I ever loved has been gone for almost a short lifetime. Ever since then it's like something died inside of me. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother at all.
