Is it normal i never dream about people i know?

I never dream about people I know. Even when I dream I am with friend they are usually made up character. I feel like I already know them in my dream but when I wake up I realize they are not real. This happens regardless of how many friends I have or how close I am to them.

    Did you know that the people in our dreams are never made up faces? Every person in your dream that you think you made up, was actually someone from the store, or on the bus, or from a magazine or movie.

    As for the question itself, it's normal. They may have your friend (Lisa's) personality, but it's someone you don't recognize as Lisa. I know I have a hard time explaining some dreams; I don't realize it wasn't my friend until I'm fully awake and functional.

      They don't have personality's of anyone I know. I just I guess made them up. They are just random people kind of added in. They actually are usually a lot nicer.

    I just google searched this question and saw this post. I also never dream about people I really know but in my dreams I know them well.
