Is it normal that i need to invite my self round my girlfriends house?
She rarely invites me round, i normally drop a text saying "will it be alright if i can come round on Tuesday?" For an example. If i want her to come round mine i normally invite her round. Is this normal? Is it just the guys job to make plans?
Definitely not the guys job to make all the plans, it should be 50/50. Ask her to put in more effort and take the initiative sometimes and make plans. Like you could switch it up have a date night each week and one week she'll make plans and then the following week you could make plans
Perhaps you should ask ahead of time, like a day or so.
It is a bit impolite to just drop by someone's house.

To the Op: Tell her that this bothers you. It's not fair to you that you're putting in ALL the effort when it comes to making plans.
I never invite my boyfriend to my house or initiate the plans because he just comes by when he wants and im cool with it and if not i just assume he is busy with his guy friends..
