Is it normal i mentally write out the screenplays to the movies i'm watching?

So, whenever I'm watching TV or a movie, I can't help but mentally write out the screenplay to what I'm watching. For example, if i'm watching Family Guy, and a chicken walks on-screen, my first thought is "Chicken walks on screen from the left." I can't help it, and it really interferes with my concentration. IIN?
