Is it normal i'm taking too much time on girls?

I'm a junior in college and yet to have anything more than a hug from a girl. It's not that i'm ugly that girls avoid me or anything, though. I've had several girls interested in me but I was too young to realize/ask them out. I've gone out a few dates but I never really ended up doing much afterwards. I was "saving" my first kiss for someone special but now i'm worried that it will never happen & I won't have the ability.
I know it's really late compared to average person, but I'd like to know if there is anyone like me out there. it'll be nice to hear from others about this.. I am seriously concerned as i get less chance of this happening as time goes.. thanks for reading all these :)

    I'm 27 and I have very little experience with the opposite sex.

    I understand that you are concerned about your chances lessening as time goes by. I have felt that in my own life.

    This is actually the second post I've said this on today, but; join the club. I'm part of the virgin choir (shocking I know) but seriously you're not alone. It's good that you realize though that just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean that there's something wrong with you. I've read a lot of post about people who think somethings wrong with them because of their virginity. I can actually understand where those people are coming from though, since I was kind of like that for awhile.

    I get the whole loneliness thing that comes from being a virgin. But from the sound of it you've had people interested in you. And it looks like you've had opportunities, which I think is pretty cool. Honestly no girl has ever really seemed interested in me beyond that of friendship, so I guess you're one of the lucky ones.

    The best advice I have, and I wouldn't blame you if you don't want to hear it (since it's coming from a guy who hasn't even kissed a girl) but its to stay positive. There's so much beauty in the world, and to focus on just one aspect of life, well, that'd be a crappy life wouldn't it?
