It's not just like Madness as in a thing, but like a person. He is kind and loving, persuasive yet caring, and I think i'm it love with him. Madness sometimes kisses me in my dreams and holds me in my sleep. He can sometimes tell me to do things like strangle people, talk to myself, or pick up the knife and walk towards said object/living thing. Other times he just talks to me, gives me ideas, or shows me places beyond mortal knowings. Madness is sometimes like a father and sometimes.. sort of different.

    Creating a form and personality for the concept of "Madness" is but one of many examples of a creative practice known as "Personification" - giving inanimate objects, places or concepts human attributes.

    I found this post fascinating because I am highly interested in personifications. I think it is wonderful that you have personified "Madness". I wish I were creative enough to do the same.
