Is it normal i'm hurt by my so called friends inactions?

I have known her not too long , I guess about 7 months. We met at work and got along terrifically! I was keen to get to know her better so invited her to hang out. We did and I could tell she had a great time , so I figured after a few times of hanging out she liked me enough to consider us as friends. Weird part is that she never initiates catching up and I'm the one always messaging her first. Last time when we were hanging she said on her own that we should go to this awesome animal park. I haven't seen her in few weeks so txt asking if she wants to go to that park next weekend. I hear nothing back. So next day I txt hope you're ok . Nothing! Then I see her change her dp on Facebook as well as hanging out with some girl last weekend. Its obvious she's ignoring me :/ Was she faking our friendship?

      Aye? How is trying to establish a friendship being needy?? Gosh how on earth do people make friends these days let alone best friends. I believe that in most best friendships , you communicate frequently as well as hang out often! That's not being needy, that's the fundamentals for any type of relationship isn't it? If I were not to try pursue a friendship with her, I doubt it wouldn't have even started.

        I totally agree with you OP. People are just like that these days. I think it's because we're all constantly bombarded with information bites and pretend friends on facebook that it reduces our attention span. That causes some people to treat other people like information bites as well. I despise people these days. They are real pieces of shit.

        You should have called her instead of texting. Texting is informal. When setting up a date to the zoo or whatever by texting her you showed how chicken-shit you were. Women want a man that will lead, a man will balls, you displayed neither.

            To answer your question, because its so obvious this person doesn't want to be around you. Most guys ask questions like this understandably because of the nature of the woman.

              It does not require me to state my gender as I'm not revolving my post around romantic intentions. If I was then it would be a different story (hence stating my gender) so you shouldn't assume. After all assumption is the mother of all fuck ups. Secondly- Not ALL girls hate each other, believe it or not but in this reality there's such a thing as girl friends and best friends (girls) as well as guys. Wake up!

          I think she was probably pretending to like me which is weird because I can't seem to figure why people are like this with me. She added me first on Facebook and seemed to care when I was about to go to court at some point..:/

            Maybe it's her, not you! I wouldn't be assuming she was necessarily pretending, perhaps she's just moved on and isn't mature enough to be clear with you. This sort of thing happens to all of us off and on

              Yeah perhaps you're right but its weird to use the term "move on" when this is still the beginning. You really only use that term when its been a long term type of relationship if you know what I mean. We were still in the stage of getting to know one another.
