you shouldn't be embarrassed. you're supposed to tell the doctor about any concerns. it's their job to listen, prescribe medication, yada yada. of course, i'm more comfortable going to a female doctor because i'm a girl.

go to the doctor. find a female doctor to talk to. i dont like going to male doctors either when it comes to sensitive issues like that. its better to get it checked out to make sure its nothing than not get it checked out and it being a major issue later on. a while ago i had dry nipples and they itched and it was so very annoying. i used to get my husband to put moisturising cream on them every night before bed (because he hated doing it lol) and after a while, they went back to normal. i dont know what caused them to go dry though.

You absolutely need to see a doctor. It's most likely nothing at all to worry about but there are some conditions (such as Paget's Disease) which really need checking out early. If it'd help to be examined by a female doctor, then ask your own doctor how this can be arranged.

Actually normal. Keep them moisturized and stop picking at them. It should never be embarrassing to talk to a doctor..they have seen and heard nearly everything. Go get checked out.
