I've met a couple of guys on dating app. Now I have a first in person date, In less than 3 hours. I'm terrified I won't know what to do or say. Please help!!!
Wear whatever is compatible with where you are going and what you plan to be doing. Hint; jeans and a wifebeater are not appropriate for the opera.
What to do? Be yourself; there's no point in being somebody you aren't. He's either going to like you are not; better to get that out of the way, right off the bat. Let him direct the conversation in the beginning, that's part of a guy's responsibility in the beginning. That's one of the main reasons I take a girl out to a comedy club on a first date. The comedians get to do most of the talking, and an evening laughing sure beats the noise and heat of an overcrowded nightclub.

I feel so inadequate, I think he only asked me out because he may be desperate :(

An easy way to find out if a guy is desperate is to refuse to sleep with him until you are certain about his motives, or as certain as you can get.
To me, it's easy to spot the "OMG I NEED A GF/SOMEONE TO FUCK SOOO BAAADLY"
If they ask you out without even knowing anything about you ...yeah no.
Thank you for asking. It was just nice; in other words, it was just 'meh'. We spent a little over a hour trying to make conversation, I had a delicious ice cream I'd been craving, and we kissed for about two minutes after he walked me to my car, yea, we met at the place.
The lights were too bright where my car was and I didn't really want to keep kissing him there. I do think we could've fucked and all, but I was blown away by how short he was, probably same height as myself and I did not know it before that night! Heehehe. Blown away! Ahahaha

Not the reason I wasn't so keen on jumping into bed with him!!! He's a friend of a friend, so I kinda weighed that in.
