Hotels just feel so comfortable to me, and in most of my experiences, they feel clean to me. I love hotels that overlook larger cities.
I've never been to a hotel but I'll love too. Just so I can get away from my family.
I love them so much. I wish they weren't crazy expensive :( but now I live in Asia in a studio apartment in the city with a big bed and it feels like a hotel! (I pay half of what one night would cost for the whole month) lol
Some people go to hotels as a getaway, even locally. I helped my older sister move a friend's kid to college cross-state last year, and even after we were supposed to check out of the hotel the next morning, she said "Wouldn't it be fun to just stay another night? Two if you want to split it", so we did. Made a min-vacation of sorts out of it. Took in some sites, went out one night..Nice little getaway.
I like to feel pampered and cared for which is probably what I love about a nice hotel. If I win the lottery I want to go away to a spa for an extended period of time.
