Is it normal i love reading the negative comments on youtube

I'm actually a pretty sensitive person and I would never laugh at others misfortune, but whenever I watch videos on youtube, especially controversial ones, about medical deformities, death, etc. I love to go through the comments to find the ones that are hidden due to low rating, I open them up and they are usually the funniest of all youtube comments. I'm not really laughing at the insults, more at the fact that someone can be so cold, I don't know why but I find it hilarious. For example the other day I came across a video tribute to someone's cat who died, and the man who made the video had killed himself. At the time I was distraught because I love cats and my own elderly cat was sick, I actually found the video by searching "i can't live without my cat", crying uncontrollably. The video made me cry even harder. but I still looked at the comments, and one of them said something like "get over it shithead" and I actually laughed out loud through my tears... IIN?
