I'm kind of going through a slight loss of appetite as well, though my usual seasonal appetite loss typically happens during the summer when it's very hot out. I think we all go through phases of it, and sometimes it's a seasonal thing.

In autumn (that is, in mid-to-late autumn when it actually starts getting cold) I want to eat more - and eat stodgier food: squashes, veg purées, roasted chestnuts, baked beans and sausages, mashed potato, porridge, and milky hot chocolate with a tot of Baileys.

It's the summer heat that makes me lose my appetite. It gets up to 38 degrees centigrade here in summer. As a British Northerner born and bred from a long line of British Northerners, that's just too hot for me to do anything but survive in. I get the sense that my body wasn't 'built' to handle such temperatures.
