Ok, so my brother went out with this girl. They never did anything at all with each other. I have more in common with her than he does anyway. But their relationship only lasted two days. Her and I have been talking since then and we really have gotten to know each other very well. She says she really likes me (as a friend only I think). My brother is pretty pissed off at me for still talking to her.. Because I like her (nobody knows this). Is it normal for me to like my brothers ex-girlfriend?

He hasn't even said a word to me since he found out I talk to her. Even when I say something to him. I just feel like if I do pursue a relationship with her, my family would shame me for going out with my brothers ex. And I would tell him if I am going to go after her.

Its easy to see why your brother would be annoyed but just because she didn't work out with him doesn't mean she can't with you... You should let him know you're interested in her before you pursue a relationship with her though.

Well it does suck for your brother, but noone owns anybody, and they are not official. So its fair game.

But out of respect for your brother atleast tell him first that you will pursue the girl he likes next time.
