Is it normal i like listening to music sometimes all day !!!:)

Sometimes when I'm in a car and my mom is telling me something I don't care about or don't really matter , I go to my iPod and listen to music or just turn up the radio , she gets pissed and all but it like I know this already , I love her dearly and all but it like , even when I'm in my room and watching tv , I put the tv on mute while it is still on and listen to music lol it's a habit ........ Is this normal ?:)

    All I do is listen to music. When I'm not listening to music on my iPod or computer, I'm at a concert. =] Music is everything. The louder, the better, especially if you listen to a lot of metal/hardcore. \m/

    Yeah idk I only listen to 106.3 , 97.3,96.7 and more but I work on when my mom is talk ok :) !!!

    I listen to music constantly as well, at work to drown out everyone around me, even at night while i'm sleeping. it's cool when a song i'm listening to while sleeping is incorporated into one of my dreams!

    I listen to my music a lot too. And just like you I'm constantly turning the radio up. But you shouldn't ignore people to turn up your music when they're in the middle of talking to you. That can be rude. Think of how your mom feels when you block out what shes saying to listen to your music. Its disrespectful, and it might actually hurt her feelings.
