Is it normal i like green bananas better than ripe ones?

I think ripe yellow bananas taste gross. They have a pastey texture and are not as sweet. The green ones have a more tropical kinda taste and the texture is more firm. My whole family thinks I'm crazy, is this normal?

    I like bananas when they've just turned yellow and are still a bit green. When bananas get overripe with brown spots they're too sweet and mushy. Overripe bananas nauseate me.

      Thats what i was talking about. It's still green but a bit of yellow, no brown.

    For as long as I can remember I have never liked green bananas, for me they're best when they're yellow and ripe, they taste better.
