Is it normal i let my husband lash out by hitting me?

When my hubby started being abusive towards me, I didn't understand it and asked him why he was doing it to me. He said he was constantly angry and was just lashing out and that punching and slapping me around helped him. So since it helps him, I let him do it because I love him and want him to be the happiest he can be. So if it hitting me makes him happy, it makes me happy too.

    If hitting hitting you and hurting you makes me happy that he doesn't love you it's wrong the end of yourself and tell him it's wrong I would leave it in the end ever put his hands on me I would leave

    Everybody has their own way of dealing with stress and anger, and for some that is hitting things.

    Should he be hitting you? Probably not. Buy a punching bag for him and hang it in the garage or basement.

    It means you're a masochist. Being a masochist and seeking pleasure through pain isn't illegal, and he's not committing a crime unless you don't want it, or it endangers your life. So yeah, I would say it's normal in your case.

    Well. If you are truly happy about being beaten ... it isn´t abuse really.

    But unless you are a really rare person you probably don´t really like it, you just put up with it for his sake.
