Is it normal i hug ballons when i feel lonely
Every time I feel lonely I blow up a balloon, draw a smiling face on it, and hug it. It makes me feel better when there's no one around. Also I never pop the balloon, I'm to attached to it to pop it.

It doesn't seem much different to hugging a stuffed animal, but at the same time it's not a conventional approach. Do you only hug balloons when feeling lonely, or can you choose to hug something else and still feel okay?
I can hug pretty much anything, but a balloon with a face is the closest I have of a real being.
Huh... Is there any appeal to the process of blowing up the balloon and adding a face? If so maybe you could sew or crochet yourself a stuffed animal or doll. It would last longer, still be a good thing to cuddle, and you could still add your own touch to it.
But if balloons really do help with loneliness, then don't fix it if it's not broke. Do what makes you happy, dude.
A stuffed animal would last longer than a balloon. Maybe that would be a better alternative?
I mean, it's not normal and you could scare the shit out of some old lady when it pops and give a heart attack so... maybe get a teddy?
I would also advise getting a pet or something, it helps with the loneliness. Get a cat or a dog, they're both very cuddly (although not always).
