Ice cream, by itself, is too rich for my taste buds. Adding milk helps to dull the flavor and gives it a nice milkshake texture. Does anyone else do this?

Have you tried different brands? There are many that I can't eat because I have weird food issues and some use crap ingredients. But cheap ice cream is kind of gross.
I've never done it, but makes sense. I like my ice cream a little melty anyway.
All the time. Hard ice cream is the worst. If soft serve isn't on hand I try to match its consistency.
Normal. I used to add milk, chocolate syrup, candy pieces, cookie pieces, and whipped cream to my ice cream.
Today, I had some cow keifer. I left the cup I had had it in unwashed and scooped in some ice cream. It was good. I think I might try putting the keifer on top of the icream next time.
