Is it normal i have sleeping problems? am i alone?

Choose the following that best describes your day-to-day sleep schedule. I sleep very little if any and im starting to wonder if theres something wrong with me. Im already strange but i feel like im ona different planet half the time. THANKS!<3XOBRII

      Lucky you. What I'd do for those hours of unconsciousness. At most, meh, I'll get a modest 5 hours. And at this moment it's two am. I'm not sure if this is considered insomnia, but it sure feels like it. My head is always racing with thoughts, and the heavier my eyelids get, the more spastic my thoughts and movements get. The day is the night, the night is the day. Days are tiring as shit, the nights make me feel alive. I guess I'm just weird, because I've endured this for about 6 months.

      • Hypersomnia is actually not fun at all.
        I do not feel rested after all that sleep, but feel even more tired if I sleep less. I take pills for it now that help me be more awake, but before that I could hardly function and would pretty much be sleep walking when I was awake. I've slept through entire weekends and have had episodes lasting for months where I could hardly do anything physically or mentally. It can be very disabling.

    My job really screwed up my sleep schedule I wont fall asleep till between 3-5 am and i hate it. And ill wake up anytime between 12-2 depending on if I have something to do.

    I usually can't sleep till three, from then nothing can wake me up. And i usually get up around seven. So that's four hours, can't say it's healthy, but it works for me, and i get about 12 on weekends.

    I've had on and off insomnia (mild to severe) for a few month now. I don't know the exact amount of hours of sleep that I get are but, its more than likely less than 8 hours.

    There could be something wrong. My symptoms were temporarily relieved when I started taking a multi-vitamin/nutrient powder. However, at some point it seemed as if the sleeping benefit from that had stopped. You could try going to a sleep centre or a neurologist (though, I figure that there would be some at a sleep centre) if it worries you.

    My sleep gets choppy from time to time. Last year I was having terrible insomnia.
