I really despise this time of year because it's all about greed, consumerism and showing off. It's not about religion and not even about family. I think working in retail may have killed off part of my soul. I think that most people feel the same except for little kids who don't know any better.
i dont think anyone who works in retail likes christmas. like literally no one ive known who works in retail likes it. which is understandable, im sorry on behalf of humanity @ all retail workers for christmas.
tbh i hate christmas too? its always so crowded in the town centre where my god damn college is and i gte very pissed off at people like g et ou t o f th e w a y stop standing rIGht int he middle of the patH stop d w a d l i n g at least some of us know where we're goin g.

Why do you assume everybody's idea of the holidays is YOUR idea of the holidays?
Sure part of it is about consumerism and greed. I'm just enjoying it because it makes winter a little more bearable and I like the jolly music and the lights and seeing family.
UM NO WTH CHRISTMAS IS NOT ABOUT GREED, its about giving and receiving which you do unless you're like selfish af. Like nowadays you wouldn't really get a Christmas present unless someone gave you one first. And Christmas is all about being happy and spending time with your loved ones. I don't know which world you live in, but here on earth, Christmas is fucking great. :)
