I cannot remember anyone hugging me besides family members until I was 19. She was a girl in my class at high school. I was always a loser at school and never had many friends.
I got my first kiss at 14, lost virginity at 17. I thought they were special at the time, but other people told me that's not that big a deal and that they had done everything by age 12. I've also known real life 40 year old virgins, seriously I have. Anyway, my point is is that it doesn't matter whether it's normal or not that you had your first hug at 19, everyone's different and it's cool.
Normal, I would say. You are just a little slower for things like that, so what?
hey watch it buddy , calling yourself a loser when you are not can get your ass kicked in. join a church , you get more hugs than you will ever want and most will be from women your age. Why? because thats where people that love life hang out. well that and nudist camps. its almost the same when you think about it.
Did you ever try hugging anyone besides people in your family? Sometimes you get what you give.
I think its normal but it depends on your community but any way you are not that old
