Is it normal i had a "fetish" before i was even interested in sex?

When I was a kid, like maybe from 4 - 8, I used to have a thing for vore (things eating other things). I'm not sure why but thinking of myself getting eaten made me feel happy (not in a gory way). But it was never a sexual thing. In fact, when I started to learn what sex was and develop hormones, I lost interest in it. Just sort of grew out of it.

IIN? Would such a thing even be considered a fetish?

    It doesn't sound like a fetish to me, since you never sexualized it...sounds more like a weird fascination you has when you were a kid.

    I've been a masochist ever since I can remember. I recall enjoying being taken advantage of or being hurt, even when it wasn't meant to be sexual. I only started to understand it as sexual when I was 7 or 8 and it was all downhill from there. :P

    I had a fascination with pregnancy and giving birth even before I knew about sex. Unlike you, however, my fetish never went away - it only got more intense once hormones got into the mix. In fact, when I actually did learn about sex, I was so disturbed by it that I couldn't sleep for three nights in a row.

    Ive heard of that as a fetish. I personally don't understand it but I have my own fetishes that I'm sure are classified as odd. What I don't get about vore is wouldn't u die if you were to be eaten or is dying part of the fantasy?
