Is it normal i got a false positive on a drug test?

I the sort of person who has been super anti drugs since I was little. Since I one of those kids who was always like "We cant do that it against the rule"! I recently took a drug test for this place and they said I was positive for THC. The only thing I have taken is Apsrin, and Ibuprofen. How did I get a positive reading? I dont even drink coffee.. I am worse then most Christians.

    Some drugs have certain things that give false positives. For example too many poppy seeds can test as opium.
    I have not heard of thc false positives. It may be possible you got second hand smoke or it was in your food. It would take an amount that you would be noticably intoxicated though.
    It is more likely they mixed your test up with someone elses.

      Well she gave me a cup and told me pee in it and then she put in a this taplet thing and she says "Its blue you failed". I just looked at her dumbfounded. She said that means I got positive for THC in my urine.

    Oh come on now, you can tell us. We won't tell. Anyway, you've already tested positive.
    Tell the truth. Really, we can take it. Like I said, we won't tell everyone you are addicted to bird seed. I bet you didn't even know that many bird seed manufacturers use cannabis seeds, wink, wink, wink? You keep telling them that; we'll back you up.

    whatever it were for it werent a legally bindin test

    and yalld hafta eat a few dozen poundsa poppy seeds to test positive for opiates

    im leanin toward bullshit

    This happened to me when applying for Amazon. They did the mouth swab and I tested positive for methamphetamine. The test giver looked at me crazy when I completely denied the use of anything. Long story short I had to prove my case by going and getting a urine test done to prove that I do not use meth... :)

    How old are you? Who else has access to your food? Like maybe one of ur kids or family members stuck weed laced food in the fridge and u ate it. Or something like that. Do u ever remember being stoned? Or even being around it?

    NSAIDS, including aspirin and ibuprofen, have been found to cause false positives in THC tests. Tell your employer and ask to have a retest after you've run the NSAIDS out of your system.

      They wont give it to me till next week and they said if I fail a second time I cant again for a Year.

        Drink a shitton of water and apple juice. It's a great way to flush it out of your system if it actually is in your system.
