Is it normal i get so bored with people?

I'm starting to notice how often I get bored with people and I'm thinking at this point it's a personal problem. I grew up having a new best friend every year. Every year with out a doubt a friendship would end and I'd start a new one. Looking back on past romantic relationships, I realize how tired I get of people, I just lose interest, and they come off as predictable. Even close friendships, after a while I just can't handle their shit. Or when people start to think they know me, that kills me. Maybe it's insecurity in someway? I know they aren't the ones who have changed, I could possibly be seeing them clearer or just growing apart. I also really enjoy my alone time, I can't even be near my family for too long or I lose it. I will cancel on people to go home and be with my thoughts. What the fuck is my problem? I'd like to stop this.

I've only ever not gotten bored with 1 person.

Sounds like you're becoming an introvert. Welcome to the world of those too acutely aware of themselves and others to be comfortable around them! (Yeah, I've felt this exact way my entire life. Only takes a few days for me to figure someone out without fail or being proven wrong for months or even years afterward. In fact, my first impressions from like an hour with them have given me great advice I should have heeded in the future on several occasions.)

Yes exactly. I can read people so well, I don't bother with them most of the time cause it's like I've already met versions of them in the past. Or can just really feel what they're all about. It sounds so cocky! But I'm sure you understand it isn't like that. Have you met someone you don't get bored of? It sounds kinda strange but I'm really hoping for someone interesting to come along.

The most interesting people are those that come off as eccentric from my experience. They have often visions of the future that are entertaining, but the ones I met mostly came back to bite me, so I don't know how that might work out for you.

I think a therapist would be better to pinpoint this issue, but I know some people act this way due to a fear of someone leaving them first (either by detachment or some other way).

Perhaps you are meant to be a loner and that's simply who you are.
