Is it normal i get really annoyed by people who invite themselves to things?

OK, so several of my old friends and I are planning a catch-up holiday overseas for a few weeks. We haven't seen each other in years because we live/work in different countries, and after nearly a year of talking about it and planning, it's finally going ahead and I was getting super excited about it.
Then, one of my friends (let's call her Friend A) suddenly says that her friend (someone only she knows) decided to invite herself to our holiday.
Most of the time, I'm completely open to meeting new people and hanging out with my friend's friends. But this time, it made me really angry that someone who has nothing to do with this is going to intrude on a reunion without even asking the other members if it's OK, and in my mind, it's going to ruin what I had been looking forward to for a long time. I have told Friend A that I'm not happy about it, but it hasn't changed the situation.
Am I being narrow minded, or is it reasonable that I feel angry?

    That's like one of my best friend's brothers always trying to invite himself with us :c.

    Your being a dick! Just tell yourself the more the merrier and be nice and I bet when your holiday comes you will be to happy to care. Acting like king/Queen of the world. I understand where your comeing from aswell but this is my view haha hope this helped a bit
