Is it normal i get mocked for my voice by family?

Hello. My aunt is mostly nice, but whenever I visit she patronizes me about my voice. It's not new to me but she's the worst about it. She even got my nephew to ask "Why do you sound like a chipmunk?" and I know that I have a higher than average voice, but I don't sound like a fucking chipmunk. Why do they exaggerate? If I hear a woman with a deeper voice (one of my cousins) I don't laugh or imitate her. I think on my aunt's part it's mild jealously because I have a naturally younger face. I'm 21 with my own life and I'm going to start a business soon. Yet she sneers and says "Grow up." I have to deepen my voice two octaves when I speak on the phone sometimes because they're like "I need you to go get your mommy." When I was 16 both of my parents made me repeatedly record my voicemail until it sounded "assertive" enough.

    It is incredibly rude for anyone to mock others for personal traits they can't control.

    Are you male or female?

    Females aren't supposed to sound liked men so I don't see why they'd laugh... If you're male then... I mean... It's still ok, every one has their unique sound so don't worry about them.

    I'd distance myself from those bullies if I were you

      I'm a lady. And I have for the most part (cut off a few "friends"), but from family members and sometimes random people it still happens. The ones who just call me cute I don't mind as much but it's still awkward. Can I be me in peace?

    Women with high voices were molested as kids. Trial and error.

          I remember a lot of things, none of them include being touched inappropriately. I was never sexually abused. If anything you're probably the one with "repressed memory".
