Is it normal i get crushes on people after they move away?

I don't really get it. Normally, I have a large dislike for people and want to be alone. But then someone moves away, I move away, etc, and suddenly I'm like "I wish I got their phone number". It's happened like 5 times now. I get super depressed afterwards about someone moving away who beforehand I hardly even wanted to talk to.

      For me it depends on the person, but when I can no longer see the person in my rear view mirror I'll probably forget about him or her.

    Often we take people for granted. When they leave you realize all the opportunities you have lost. You feel their absence. We also tend to want what we can't have. My best advice is to try and appreciate people when they are around, at worst you will stay in contact with them after they leave and perhaps even see them again someday.
