Is it normal i gave my sister my vcard?

I know most people do that with someone they don't know so well, but it seemed like the practical approach. We'd been communicating online for a while and I thought she was comfortable with that, but when I did it she got a bit confused and overwhelmed. She had most of the information already of course, but she wanted to visit my office and didn't have the address so I just gave her the whole thing. Is that normal?

    So let me guess.

You stumbled upon the term vCard, which is a file format most associated with cellphone contacts, and thought "lulz that sounds the same as virginity card. Let me run to IIN so I can use it in a title to juke people. Anyone who accuses me of being crass, I can defend myself and PWN them using the technical definition of vCard. Squee this will be so much fun"

I sometimes appreciate a good creative troll, I really do. But this was just tasteless.

Well if it is that then I would say normal... normal to trust a family member with your credit card.

        • Why would a credit card have my address on it? How does that make any sense in context?

            You didnt say that.
you said "She had most of the information already of course, but she wanted to visit my office and didn't have the address"
Most of you information could meen most of your card information.... and you stated she didnt have your address.

Now to be honest I knew what you ment but hopped for it to be a credit card.
so you know.... no its not normal at all... it weird and dare I even say gross. Kind of a turn off for any future girls you have a relationship with.
Do you see a bunch of siblings dating? Getting married? No? Yeah thats because its not normal.

            • What the hell. I didn't expect such a strong reaction to using an unpopular format. Is this some kind of fanboy/foss religious war I'm not familiar with?

It's okay to give your sister a Valentine's Card if you don't attach any incestuous or sexual innuendo to it.
