And, yeah, as others have said, you need to be aware that, having made the deal with your exploitative devil, he may well come back with further demands. If he's a total asshat (which he almost certainly is), and he doesn't have much to lose, he may even blackmail you by threatening to arrange for your husband to hear about your infidelity, or just fire you if you don't comply.

Bottom line: while I understand why you did what you did, and I don't condemn out of hand anyone who does such things, you clearly work for a despicable man, and you've made a very uncomfortable bed for yourself.

From my understanding, she traded sex for a promotion and was given the promotion. It was a verbal contract, and that was honored. Both parties seem to of filled their part of the agreement.
