Is it normal i feel a rare strange connection with a stranger?

I like to drink beers, and i mostly drink in the weekends... Sometimes i do slip and drink before the weekend but it depends... I take the train + a bus to get home when in school. I noticed this guy, with long blonde hair.. Rather skinny.. I noticed he started drinking beers as soon as he hit the bench outside of the train station in the local town from where i take my bus home....

Once i saw him drinking his beer, and i could see the sadness in his eyes.. That moment i realized he was probably an alcoholic.... It's just that for some reason i feel this rare connection when i look at him.. Even though i never talked with the bloke, and probably never will...

He goes to the same School/education place where i go, seen him also there... I don't even know why i care but seeing him sit there.. Drink beers in the middle of a busy workday just gets to me somehow.. is it normal i feel some odd connection?

    Isn't it strange how you have a connection with someone you'll never talk to. I had a moment like that (not exactly similar, but the same idea) with a guy in the airport security line. Out he goes and away he went, no more airport man, ever again, for the rest of my life.

    It's all rather bittersweet to me. But your connection is tangible! Talk to him sometime.

      the worst is when it at work, cause then your like... shit do they feel it too or are they just being nice...i dont want to be creepy @_@

      Maybe i should.. I just don't fancy talking to people i don't know that much.
