Is it normal i eat the turkey cartilage on the leg?

You know on either the wing or the leg there is cartilage? My family just celebrated thanksgiving (it's normal cuz I live in Canada) and when I ate the leg or wing I ate the cartilage aswell. It's honestly my favourite part, next to the skin. is it normal I eat the cartilage?

My mother is Puerto Rican and was raised there. They eat everything... even break the bone and suck the juice out. If you are having dinner at a dates house...
Make sure you break the bone and drink the juice out or they might look at you funny.
