I have a huge ass afro with random curls in different places that I recently bleached and dyed leaf green. I've made my parents, friends, coworkers and even my boss refer to me as Tree or Tree Spirit Nasha (nickname). I feel free.
I'd love to see your ass afro.
I love dying my hair too,usually once or twice a year. It's currently blonde (as usual), green and turquoise. I quite like it.
Hmmm. I have hair that grows out. But not afro style it just grows out. All my buddies had long rocker hair in my teens, the more i grew my hair the more it grew out and up, instead of down. Waves and curls. Ugh.
So I decided to dye the fucker pink. Not the finest of my ideas. We just realised that the offy was closing in 10 mins at the exact time it was meant to be washed out. So we made the offy, but i woke up the next morning with normal hair, a pink pillow and an angry mother. Oops.
So now i keep it short.

Completely normal. I used to dye my hair all sorts of colors. Purple was the color I had the longest. I kind of miss it.
What ever makes you happy some ppl can't do stuff like that becos of there job.
