I'm wondering what you would call it.

    Preferably not 'Poke'.

'Waiter, could I have a Poke please'.

    Might turn some heads.

Not if you get the ones with sugar. Tell me exactly what makes hfcs worse than sugar? Aside from taste?

You know how the original coke had cocaine to get you addicted? well HFCS is a modern version of legal addiction. There is a hormone called leptin that tells you that you're satisfied and you don't want more. ONE of the detriments of hfcs is that you get addicted like a drug. Another thing it does, it screws us your liver, like driving your car with the emergency brake on all the time does to your pancreas which causes diabetes. watch this for more information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSLJojOGw5k This guy used to be in the FDA and he knows exactly what they would say bcuz he was there. ( I see him as very credible.. He's been attacked by the government bcuz he's a threat to their agendas) Anyway, hfcs gets you addicted, seriously causes obesity. Another thing it does aside from getting you addicted like a drug, screwing up your pancreas on purpose, that every calorie normally that you consume can either be burned or stored. HFCS is formulated to only be stored as fat. Every calorie. You just don't notice it. Being addicted to something that gets you addicted to where you're never satisfied on top of making you fat and giving you diabetes, it's a poison that dumbs you down too. It makes your eyelashes fall out. It's HORRIBLE. I avoid it any way I can.

If it is so addictive like cocaine... why am I not addicted to it? I have a soda once in awhile. I'm not addicted.

Well, some people are more prone than others, I guess, I'm not all that sure, I just have studied the science behind it. I know that I am particularly prone to having another one, after another, etc. Morbidly obese people will talk about how they're addicted to pop. I guess it's sort of like drugs. Some people can dabble with drugs and it's not a big deal, but if you really get hooked, ur fuct.

It's like cocaine I guess, some do it and don't get addicted per se. I don't really know, I have just studied the science behind it.

Coke has more sodium and Pepsi has more sugar. Maybe in mixing them you feel the taste is balanced?
Also you're friends might be embarrassed because some places only carry either one or the other, so in their minds, it's a silly request.

no restaurant is gonna have both

they makes a choice in the beginnin and for either coke or pepsi products and signs a contract

they got free or discounted coolers soda fountains signs posters and other shit so if they got caught sellin the competitions sodas or beverage products theyd be in breach of theys contract and would git squished like a bug

Actually, I have worked in restaurants that do have both. It all depends on what the owner wants. I must call bullpoop on that one. Some do and some do not.

if they doesnt has a contract then yes they can sell any soda they wants

if theys buyin in any kinda volume it makes sense to sign a contract and git a volume discount and all kinda swag too

i worked at a university what changed from coke to pepsi and the amount of shit what needed changed out were astoundin includin all the vendin machines fountains coolers and signs

it were a huge production and years later it prolly still aint paid off whan transport and labor costs for movin and settin all that shit up is figgered in

I worked in restaurants while going through my first two years of college. I now am a nurse practitioner that speaks and writes English in a way that makes me sound like I have an education. Best of luck.
