It's funny you should ask this, as I too have had this on my mind lately. What is the point of having a woman sit on my face if I never manage to achieve orgasm? You should feel free to do whatever you need to do to get yourself off. Some women enjoy the sensation of being penetrated. It definitely shouldn't be all about the D in the V (or the A) and if it is just about that, then the woman is unlikely to enjoy it as much as she might, but my experience is that most enjoy penetrative sex a lot if a guy makes sure she has at least one orgasm by other means before moving on to that.

I’ve heard the “only 20% of women can orgasm from penetration alone” statistic many times and just assumed most women only had penetrative sex because their partners enjoyed it more than receiving oral. But then maybe they do it because they are attracted to him during the act? I don’t know.
