Is it normal i dont like movie theaters

I dont like the cramped space and sitting in a dark room full of strangers, gross, I hate people.
I happen to have a small bladder too. I nearly always have to go pee during the movie which I hate because I cant find my seat afterwards in the dark so I want to always sit at the end of a row and I can count how many rows in we're sitting when I go. Its annoying too because I miss a part of the movie and I feel like my date or friend is secretly judging me and thinking about the fact that I am on the toilet. Gross. Due to this I cannot drink anything throughout the whole god damn movie and I prefer to watch shorter movies. My bladder hates me because since it knows I cant pee now it makes me have to pee extra badly even if I drink nothing before the movie. Sometimes I have to pee twice during the movie so I hold it in when I feel I need to go again so by the time the movie ends im practically exploding and have to half run to the nearest toilet. Because my bladder hates me.
It's only stress with this like with all things that involve other people, plus they overcharge you for snacks. Gross!

    You likely need an older theater - if you can find them... I'll bet you'd like them.

    I grew up going to movies in an old vaudeville theater, complete with ornate walls and a number of "private" areas for small groups (a bench that could seat 4-5 behind a bit more than a knee high wall - with the whole mini-booth elevated. The entrances zig zaged a bit so no one could see in from the hallway used to access them too. I think there were 6 of them: First come first serve (they cost more $ than normal seating).

    These were usually used by teenagers on a date (occasionally a family). No one could see you from the main floor if you laid down - and lots of dates did a lot more than watch a movie in them. ;)

    Also the theater had plenty of restrooms on each level.

    I really enjoyed that theater - and wish those would come back.

    Damn OP when you describe it like that it made me Not want to go back to a movie theater. I never thought much about it, but I agree with what you wrote.
